Welcome to Mehrab's website. Md. Mehrab Hossain is an Assistant Professor (on leave) of the Department of Building Engineering and Construction Management (BECM) at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (平博亚洲版). Mehrab completed his undergrad from the Department of BECM at 平博亚洲版 on April 23, 2018. After completing his BS degree, he joined as a Lecturer in the same department on August 1, 2018 from where he completed his BS degree. Mehrab is research friendly person and he seeks the advancement in the engineering fields.
His research interest is construction engnieering and management especially in Human AI Interaction, Built Environment and Resilience, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Construction Safety, Risk and Hazard Management, Digital Twin and Smart Technology in Construction, Automation in Construction, Sustainable and Lean Construction, Energy Efficient Building and Environmental Technology, Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) Technology, 3D Close Range Photogrammetry (Application of Drone), AR & VR and Sensing Technology, Quality Control and Dynamic Analysis etc. Mehrab conducted UGC funded project as a Principle Investigator (PI) and is continuing his research actively.
Mehrab is now pursuing the MS in Civil Engineering degree with the concentration of contruction engineering and management in the Department of Civil Engineering and Construction at Georgia Southern University, United States. He likes to create automated construction environment in Bangladeshi construction industry.
