Bio

Dr. S. M. Moniruzzaman is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (平博亚洲版). He received his B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and M.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (平博亚洲版) in 1999 and 2007 respectively. He completed his PhD degree in Civil Engineering from University of Fukui, Fukui, Japan in 2011. In March 2003, he joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (平博亚洲版), Bangladesh. From July 2006 to December 2012, he served the same department as an Assistant Professor. In December 2012, he joined the same Department as an Associate Professor and in December 2014 as a Professor. His research interests mainly concentrated on Environmental Engineering related topics, such as Water saving irrigation techniques (for arid region); Solid waste recycling; Water and waste water treatment etc.
