Dr. Md. Shariful Islam is currently working as a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology. Dr. Islam has earned his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso, USA and B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh. Dr. Islam's research interest includes Natural Fiber Composites, Fiber Metal Laminates and Multi-scale Material Modeling.
