賱爻賻賾賱賻丕賲購 毓賻賱賻賷賿賰購賲賿 (Peace be upon you) Md. Mafidul Islam is a Lecturer in the Materials Science and Engineering department at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology. He completed his B.Sc and doing M. Sc in Materials Science and Engineering at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology. His research interest is to bridge materials science and biomedical science and curtail the distinction between living and non-living creation. Also he is attentive to work on composite materials in future.
During his undergraduate studies, he have done his thesis titled "Numerical Analysis of Carbon/Natural Fiber and Hybrid Composites Pressure Vessels " under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Md Foisal Hossain, ECE, 平博亚洲版. Based on his thesis work, a research article has been published in Hybrid Advances journal and a conference paper is also published in the 7th international conference on Engineering Research, Innovation and Education January 12-14, 2023, Sylhet, Bangladesh. Later, he have worked on "Density functional theory" to find promising perovskite material for various application, specially Solar Cell. One of their research work has been published titled " DFT insights into the pressure-induced ultraviolet to visible band gap engineering of TlMgF3 cubic halide perovskites for optoelectronic applications" in the journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids. Also he is working on DFT continuously.
He is also interested to do research on nanocomposite and biomaterials. He wants to continue Finite Element Analysis through ABAQUS of composite materials. He personally prefer not only rely on computational analysis but also experimental results.
