Welcome to my official page. Md. Salman Haque earned his B.Sc. in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in February 2021. After graduating, he joined the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (平博亚洲版) as a lecturer on May 8, 2022.
His research interests are diverse and include biodegradable polymer composites, light alloys, and nanomaterials. Md. Haque is particularly focused on the development and characterization of environmentally friendly materials that can replace conventional plastics and metals. His work on biodegradable polymer composites aims to address the growing concern of plastic pollution by creating materials that can degrade naturally without harming the environment.
In the field of light alloys, Md. Haque explores the potential of lightweight materials for use in various industries, including automotive and aerospace, where reducing weight can significantly improve fuel efficiency and performance. His research on nanomaterials involves investigating their unique properties and potential applications in areas such as electronics, medicine, and energy storage.
Md. Haque has published several papers in Scopus-indexed journals, contributing valuable insights to the field of materials science. His publications cover various topics, from the mechanical properties of biodegradable composites to the synthesis and application of nanomaterials. He has also actively participated in international conferences, presenting his research findings to a global audience and engaging with other experts in the field.
Through his teaching and research, Md. Haque is committed to advancing the field of materials science and engineering, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainable practices.
