Tasmi Akter works as a Lecturer in, the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (平博亚洲版). She is pursuing her MSc. Eng. in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, 平博亚洲版. She completed her BSc. Eng. from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, 平博亚洲版 in March 2022. She secured the 1st position in BSc. She also received the Dean's List award in all academic years. Her undergraduate thesis work was based on the Thickness-dependent Ferroelectric properties of Ni-doped BiFeO3 Multiferroic using SILVACO ATLAS Device Simulator. Her recent research interests are Density Functional Theory, Gas Sensors, and Thin film Technology. She has a diverse and active role as a faculty member. She teaches various theory and laboratory courses, supervises undergraduate thesis students, contributes to develop current laboratory programs, and oversees laboratory facilities.
